SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
SUBMISSIONS FOR THE SITE ARE ALWAYS OPEN.
TO SUBMIT TO OUR PRINTED PROJECTS, PLEASE SPECIFY 'FOR PRINT' IN YOUR SUBMISSION EMAIL.
OUR FIRST PRINTED PROJECT WILL ACCEPT SUBMISSIONS FROM JULY 19TH UNTIL SEPTEMBER 21ST.
THE THEME IS HANDS - INTERPRET HOW YOU WISH.
We welcome submissions from almost every artistic medium.
You must be at least 18 years old to submit.
You retain all rights, but we may use your accepted work to further promote the site, giving you full credit on any published work.
We do not accept any works created by AI in any form. Anyone found to have submitted AI generated media will be permanently banned.
If the medium of your work is not mentioned below, or if you have any questions about submissions, contact us.
Include content warnings on submissions that include possibly triggering content or themes such as; sexual assault or violence, suicide, eating disorders, abuse, excessive gore, etc.
Send your work through as an email attachment, Dropbox, OneDrive, GoogleDrive, or Cloud link.
For poetry in printed projects, please cap at 350 words (no cap needed on works featured on web only).
For short stories in printed projects, please cap at 2,000 words (no cap needed on works featured on web only).
Photography: photographs with captions if needed. Images/scans must be of high resolution and overall picture quality. JPG or PNG file format.
Audio and Spoken Word: No longer than 10 minutes, MP3 file format. Provide a transcript of the work.
Written work: Send as a Word Doc, GoogleDoc or PDF
Visual Art and Illustration: 3-10 artworks with captions if needed. Images/scans of work must be of a high quality. This section includes digital art. JPG or PNG file format. Provide a transcript of any text as a Word Doc.
Comics: Up to 10 pages/images. Must be a self contained story, no chapters or excerpts. JPG or PNG file format. Provide a transcript of any text as a Word Doc.
Visual Poetry: Up to 10 images, refer to visual art guidelines. Provide a transcript of the poems text as a Word Doc.
